How do I change the default word and symbol pairing in a symbolate button in Boardmaker Version 6?

Double-click the symbol for the word-symbol pairing to be changed with the Symbolate Tool. This will open the Symbolate Candidates dialog.
Click the symbol you want to become the new default.
Click the Make Default button.
Select the No Symbol entry in the candidate list to prevent the application from displaying a symbol for the word.
Click OK to save the changes.
