How do I Lock the Android Toolbar?

This article refers to version 1.3 and above!

1. On your T10 device, select the Settings button in the Toolbar.
  If the Toolbar is hidden, first select the Edit Button at the top right corner of your screen.  Then select Settings on the dialog that opens.

2. Select Interface from the Settings menu.

3.  Select the drop-down menu to the right of Android Toolbar.



4. Select Lock.

The very first time you try to lock the toolbar, a dialog will open that says "In order to lock the Android toolbar you must have the DynaVox Access service.  Would you like to install it?"

 

Select Yes, then select Install, then select Done.



The options to leave the app in the lower-left corner of the screen will disappear.  The options showing on the lower-right will no longer be accessible, and you will see a padlock letting you know that the toolbar is locked.

 

To unlock the toolbar, follow steps 1-4 above but choose Unlock in Step 4, and then select Done.
