Why do I get “Error starting Boardmaker 7 Editor: edge.initializeClrFunc is not a function” when creating a new activity using the Boardmaker 7 Editor?

For Windows

1. Completely uninstall the app.  Both entries in add/remove programs or settings applications need removed. 
2. Delete the folder that contains the app updates. EX: C:\Users\<user name>\appdata\local\Boardmaker-7-updater
3. Reboot the affected computer.
4. Reinstall the latest MSI to avoid auto-updates from being applied.  Latest downloads are here: https://get.myboardmaker.com/downloads/

For Mac OSx:
Simply go to Applications, drag the Boardmaker 7 Editor folder to the trash, and reinstall the Boardmaker 7 Editor.

NOTE: If the above for Windows does not resolve the issue please check to see of the Boardmaker 7 Editor is running in 'Compatibility Mode' - If it is try turning that off and seeing if it resolves the issue.
