Communication Partner Training for AAC and Aphasia

In this course you will learn about strategies to support successful and meaningful communication interactions with a person with aphasia (PWA). Learn how you can use TD Snap Aphasia in real life scenarios to be a better communication partner for PWA. The course contains the following resources: Reduce Communication Breakdowns, Aphasia Topic Interest Inventory, TD Snap Aphasia Implementation Guide, Overcoming Barriers, Tips for Selecting Photographs, and Using Cues to Support Communication.


Upon successful completion, participants will be able to: 

Identify 2 strategies to reduce communication break downs when communicating with a person with Aphasia. 

Identify 2 benefits of using the communication/topic interest inventory to support successful interactions with someone with Aphasia. 

Identify 2 communication tools for successful interactions for Persons with Aphasia.
